The magazine is launching a digital subscription service, which will include over 40 titles and covers curated by Campbell and his team, including a collection of Campbell’s most recent covers.
In a piece in The New Republic titled “The New York Book Review: From the New York City Center to the Largest City in the World,” Campbell talks about his new title, A Beautifully Trained Man, which he describes as “an homage to the great minds who have shaped New York, and the city in which they lived and worked.”
The book features “the kind of insights, the kind of thought-provoking insights, that the people who were here when the book was written are often missing.”
A Beautiful Mind, Campbell writes, “will tell the story of a brilliant young man who, inspired by the thought that a man like him might one day be the president, made a bold decision, and made the greatest decision of his life.”
The title of the book is a nod to the fact that Campbell is a former White House correspondent for The New Daily, a New York Daily News website.
Campbell’s New York book will be available on April 8.
