— Burger King Canada is in the midst of a big redesign, and it is looking to bring the food it serves in the U.S. to Canada.
The company has hired the firm The Cheesecake Factory, the company said Tuesday.
“We are currently in discussions with the company to further develop our brand and to expand our reach,” the chain said in a statement.
“In order to do this, we will need to re-examine our entire food sourcing chain and our existing distribution network to better align our brand with the tastes of our customers.”
Burger King Canada announced a few weeks ago that it would be moving its U.K. restaurants to a new, smaller location in Brampton.
The decision was made in part to comply with U.N. sanctions against Russia and Iran.
The company says it will start moving restaurants there by early 2017.
Burger Barons Canada is a franchisee of The Cheez-Its in Bramhampton.
Burgies Canada, meanwhile, is a subsidiary of Canadian restaurant giant McDonald’s.
